About the Cultural Travel Photography Website

Cultural travel and photography are two of my passions.

Because of this, I enjoy meeting and learning about people, to include their ethnic history, culture and traditions. In particular I am drawn to the energy of religion and spirituality, and observing how modern practices represent connections to the ancient past. All while making friendships and adding an interpersonal level of understanding.

However, unlike other travel photography sites, this site is not about building the stature of a photographer or focusing primarily on technical aspects of photography as a means to capture award-winning photos. It is about the travel experience and capturing the trip with excellent photos.

Goals

Share ideas for enjoying an enriching cultural travel experience, and tips for capturing great images of your travels.

Blog my travels with local insights and information. This will include basic information for trip planning and how to enjoy a safe and enriching local experience. And of course, tips for taking great images of your visit.
